So, I've had a 529 plan I need to get transferred out of a less than ideal custodian with an annoying interface, slow response times, bad fund choices, etc. hanging over my head for a quarter.

I woke up yesterday and asked grok bot to give me the steps to transfer.

It came back with a detail list of steps to take in order to get things rolling. Namely which number to call, what key phrases to say in order to transfer the funds out to another 529 and what steps beyond the call I would need to do.

This task has been lingering for months and with a simple text to my Grok Bot, I instantly had a plan and a next step to take.

By the end of the day I had a finished pdf filled out (with Claudes help) and ready to be submitted which I'll hopefully knock out today.

It's really incredible what these tools can do.

Oftentimes I find that the biggest thing they help me with isn't one-shotting a task but rather getting momentum started. They provide the initiation energy to BEGIN the task and then assist until completion.

Much like a starter turns over the engine (old metaphor for Tesla/Electric car drivers😀) in order to get the engine running so you can drive somewhere.
