Grok Bot Saves $55 Monthly on Internet and Wireless Bill

Grok Bot helped reduce an internet bill by $45/month and identified an unused feature costing $20/month. It also provided insights on home insurance coverage, prompting a follow-up with the insurance agent.

Grok Bot just saved me $55/mo on my internet and wireless bill!

- sent it my PDF bills and asked it to find ways to decrease the amount, but keep the same features
- it couldn't find a better deal with competitors, but did find AT&T offered the same internet plan for $25/mo cheaper because mine had gone up over the past 2 years
- it also found a NextUp feature on my phone bill I don't use for $20/mo
- I connected to Grok Bot's computer and put in my AT&T credientials personally
- Grok Bot opened the customer service chat and chatted with the agent on my account while I watched
- I specifically asked Grok Bot to request the new monthly total and confirm it was cheaper by the expected amount before agreeing to the changes

After about 30 minutes of chatting my bill is now $45/mo cheaper! Grok Bot also added a reminder 1 year from now to ask for the discount again when the $25/mo internet promo expires.

I also sent it my auto / home insurance. After explaining what coverage percentages are "typical / safe" and asking a few questions about the coverage I wanted, it found that I had twice as much "contents" coverage than the national average! I will call the insurance agent tomorrow and discuss this personally.

As a side note, I did have to ask Grok Bot to reply at the speed of someone typing at 80 WPM because it was submitting paragraph responses 0.5s after the agent responded. 🤣
