I use dots and Grok Bots for different jobs. My dot is my general assistant across work and life. I've been using ChatGPT heavily since 3.5, so it makes sense it’s my chief of staff with full context of my life.
As chief of staff it runs my other agents. I use Grok Bots as specialists, particularly for X research where they have better access/limits. They coordinate via @slackHQ and @Notion and it works brilliantly so far.
The distinction for me is how much managing I have to do. Would you rather have one genius assistant who can do everything, or manage a team of specialist geniuses? Depends on the job and personal preference.
What I don’t want is one genius who makes me walk into a different room every time I change topics. That’s my concern with the Muse approach.
I’m in Australia and haven’t had access to Duet yet. But I’ve already been flagged for potentially overworking my dot, so I reckon I’ve given that side a decent test 😅
