Sam is 100% right and it's not just the WP theme businesses.
It's the plugins and folks like @elemntor
I set my newsletter up with PMPro and hated everything about it (including their transaction fee).
I had Claude create a custom plugin for me that does everything they do and replaced it.
But I'm not stopping there.
I use Elementor to customize my site's design and do some other things. The annual renewal comes up next month and I won't be renewing.
