Last week we had a baby girl.
This week @instinct helped send the news to 400+ emails, and the formatting came out bad enough that my wife noticed :)
The miss: when I asked it to send the email itself instead of me doing the bcc again, the formatting was way off. Links especially.
Gmail adds tags to links in assistant-sent emails. If anyone has a way around that, send it over. It feels like the em-dash of the assistant era.
What it did well:
1. Adding people to the list. I gave it access to my Google sheet, had it check my inbox for "new friends" and add those, then texted it a few more names. Super smooth.
2. Catching bounces and handling the basic replies. That let me write more personal notes back to the people who sent personal Mazal Tov emails.
When an agent is talking to humans, the bar is higher. People notice when something looks off.
