Proactive Flight Updates from Instinct EA

Honestly, a week in, Instinct is a pretty terrific EA. I really like how proactive Instinct is without being obnoxious or obsequious.

The day before my flight, Instinct let me know Delta had issued a weather waiver, before I’d even thought to check. This morning, it texted me at 8:36 that my flight was delayed 75 minutes, and when it slipped again to 4:30 it gave me a quick update. It even suggested using my airport time to call Mom and Dad, which I appreciated.

I also like that Instinct doesn’t spam you. When I asked what the probabilities were of my flight being cancelled, it didn’t make up a number. It told me what it actually “knew” and that the storm was passing that night, the flight was still operating, and I didn’t need to decide anything yet. When I asked where my plane was, it told me it was in the air from Columbus and would land in time to make the 4:30 departure. It also helped me give a quick update to my work colleagues to let them know I might be late tomorrow morning. Very cool. Kudos to @noahrshinn for a magical product.
